Financial Planning Association Scholarship Fund

Description:
To grant scholarships to students preparing for careers in the financial services field.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. A major in a financial services-related field, with a career path that emphasizes personal contact relationships with the public
  2. A minimum grade point average of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale, with a 3.0 GPA in the student’s major
  3. A need for financial assistance, as confirmed by the student’s college or university
  4. An anticipated career path that has a major or supporting focus on utilizing the financial planning process in client relationships
  5. Completion of more than one-half of the hours required in the major area of study
  6. Demonstration of academic merit in the major field of study, as described in recommendations from professors
  7. Involvement in extracurricular activities

Battelle Scholars Program Alumni Fund

Battelle Scholars Program Alumni Fund

Description:
To attract students who display unusual leadership ability and to encourage these students to develop and keep their talents in Central Ohio. The criteria for selection as a Battelle Scholar are leadership potential and intellectual promise. Financial need is not a consideration nor is field of study. Scholarships are available to students who are entering undergraduate or professional schools.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Additional criteria as established by each participating school
  2. Applicants must plan to attend of the following participating schools: Capital University, The Columbus College of Art & Design, Denison University, Franklin University, Ohio Dominican University, The Ohio State University, Ohio Wesleyan University, and Otterbein College
  3. Applicants must reside in one of the following counties of Ohio: Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, or Union
