To grant scholarships to students preparing for careers in the financial services field.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A major in a financial services-related field, with a career path that emphasizes personal contact relationships with the public
- A minimum grade point average of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale, with a 3.0 GPA in the student’s major
- A need for financial assistance, as confirmed by the student’s college or university
- An anticipated career path that has a major or supporting focus on utilizing the financial planning process in client relationships
- Completion of more than one-half of the hours required in the major area of study
- Demonstration of academic merit in the major field of study, as described in recommendations from professors
- Involvement in extracurricular activities
