Continental Building Systems is a full service general contractor headquartered in Columbus, Ohio with an office in Pittsburgh, PA. They focus mainly on the commercial construction of office, retail, medical, industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, and education projects. They have created this scholarship fund because they believe strongly in the education of our youth. The goal of this scholarship fund is to provide assistance to a promising student with need.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Candidate must be a graduating high school senior from one of the following areas: Columbus and/or Central Ohio or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and surrounding counties
  2. Candidate must enroll in a 4-year, post-secondary educational institution
  3. Candidate must have at least a 3.0 grade point average

  1. Graduating seniors of Beavercreek High School in Beavercreek, Ohio or Kettering Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio
  2. May attend on a full-time or part-time basis (no fewer than 6 credit hours per term)
  3. May be pursuing a degree in any area, however, preference may be given to those pursuing a career in one of the following fields: Hospitality Management, Retail Management, Culinary Arts, Marketing, Construction Management, Dramatic or Musical Arts
  4. Must have a 2.75 grade point average (assuming a scale of A=4.0)
  5. Must plan to attend a public or nonprofit independent college, university, or community college in the United States of America

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Candidate cannot be in the top 10% of their graduating class at North Olmsted High School. In fact, preference will be given to students that have a GPA between 1.7 and 2.3.
  2. Candidate must be a graduating senior of North Olmsted High School in North Olmsted, Ohio.
  3. Candidate must plan to work during their post-secondary education.
  4. Candidate must pursue a degree through an Ohio, public college/university, vocational school, junior college, or trade school.
